As a result of this growth, we are now recruiting for 2 Experienced Accounts Assistants for our Belfast Office. We are looking for someone to proactively support and work alongside our Accounts teams.

Job Purpose

You will be part of the Accounts team dealing with all clients providing shared services and administrative functions in line with the business strategy.

Skills & Experience

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to enable you to complete your role, working to deadlines and the ability to work on your own and as part of a team. To be successful in this role you will be expected to demonstrate a desire for learning about our client accounts, IT software, and our company values. Experience working with Microsoft Excel is essential and SAP accounting software would be advantageous.

Requirements:

• Confident, organised with strong attention to detail
• Minimum of 0-1 years' experience in an Accounts Administrative role
• Advanced experience in working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Confident
• Co-operate with other team members
• SAP accounting software experience would be advantageous

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contacting clients and dealing with customer queries
• Assisting with the day to day operational and finance tasks
• Running and analysing detailed reports
• Reconciling client and supplier payments
• Inputting data into SAP
• Invoicing clients and suppliers
• Adhoc duties as deemed appropriate by management

Business Travel Consultant (REF: STM120)

We’re looking for Business Travel Consultants to join our Corporate and Groups teams.

Job Purpose:

You will be part of a team of corporate/group travel consultants responding to travel requests from SME’s, Government bodies and the Higher Education sector across the UK and Ireland. You will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to exceed our service level agreements and fulfil our customer requirements by providing the highest level of customer service and best value for money.

Key Responsibilities:

• Give expert travel quotes and provide creative travel itineraries
• Working as part of a team arranging worldwide travel for corporate & business accounts within commercial, government, education & local authorities
• Ensure all quotations meet client needs and reservations are booked in an accurate and timely manner.
• Providing indepth knowledge of destinations, tour operators and suppliers
• Know your customer, listen to their needs and conduct yourself at all times in a friendly and professional manner.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service and make sure all requirements are accurately met each and every time in line with client needs
• Act as an ambassador and key point of contact for the client during their travels before, during and after.
• Using a GDS booking system / other reservation systems

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential
• Ability to work under pressure and to precise time frames is paramount
• Operation of GDS (Galileo) is desirable.
• The successful candidate will be able to work self-sufficiently, as well as part of the team.
• The following skills are desirable; working in a corporate/group booking travel environment, knowledge of tailor-made trips, booking and changing multi sector and multi product itineraries.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the travel sector.

Are you looking to further your career in Marketing? Selective Travel Management, part of The World Travel Centre Group, is continuing to expand in the UK and Ireland. As a result of this growth, we are now recruiting for a full-time Marketing Executive to join our Belfast team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans to support the company’s overall business strategy both internally and externally.

We are looking for an excellent communicator, team player and self-starter who can contribute new ideas to the company’s marketing team. Candidates should have previous experience in a general Marketing position, B2B experience is preferable.

Selective Travel Management is one of the UK and Ireland’s largest independent Travel Management Companies. We are market leaders, supplying business travel services to four specialist divisions, including Higher Education, SME, Government and Charity.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of a marketing plan in line with the business strategy
• Set the standards and consistently seek to deliver Exceptional Customer Service
• Maintain and update all online platforms in line with the business strategy.
• Manage the company website and undertake any further enhancements when required.
• Support the development and enhancement of the company’s suite of technology.
• Create and manage the company’s email marketing campaigns.
• Work with Sales to organise and attend tradeshows and events.
• Generate opportunities to promote brand awareness for the company.
• Source the most cost-effective advertising opportunities.
• Work closely with all departments to meet their marketing needs
• Regularly monitor activities online and offline to meet business and marketing goals
• Ensure all marketing and administration systems are complete and accurate at all times
• Act as the point of contact for the company to develop and improve all marketing initiatives.
• Continuously seek to develop and enhance your own knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Adhere to all quality standards and contribute to the on-going development of the business.
• Comply with all H&S policies and procedures.

You may be required to undertake any other duties within reason and competence to meet business needs

Required Experience:

• Degree Qualification or higher in Marketing or similar relevant discipline
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a marketing related roll
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and strategies
• Well organised and quick to prioritise workload
• Excellent knowledge of MS office
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques

Desirable Experience:

• Digital Marketing experience including Google Analytics
• Experience in using design software packages such as Photoshop, iMovie and Canva
• Knowledge of the Travel industry is an advantage
• Experience working in a B2B environment
• Ability to cultivate ideas
