We are seeking experienced consultant with a travel background to join our team 

Job Purpose:

You will be part of a team of business travel consultants responding to travel requests from SME’s, Government bodies and the Higher Education sector across the UK and Ireland. You will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to exceed our service level agreements and fulfil our customer requirements by providing the highest level of customer service and best value for money. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team arranging worldwide travel for corporate & business accounts within commercial, government, education & local authorities.

• Provide expert travel quotes and creative travel itineraries 

• Ensure all quotations meet client needs and reservations are booked in an accurate and timely manner in line with SLA’s

• Providing in depth knowledge of destinations, tour operators and suppliers 

• Know your customer, listen to their needs and conduct yourself at all times in a friendly and professional manner 

• Deliver exceptional customer service and make sure all requirements are accurately met each and every time in line with client needs 

• Act as an ambassador and key point of contact for the client during their travels before, during and after 

• Using a GDS booking system / other reservation system 

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential
• Ability to work under pressure and to precise time frames is paramount
• Operation of GDS (Galileo) is desirable.
• The successful candidate will be able to work self-sufficiently, as well as part of the team.

• The following skills are desirable; working in a corporate booking travel environment, knowledge of tailor-made trips, booking and changing multi sector and multi product itineraries. 
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the travel sector.

We’re looking for Groups / MICE Consultants to join our corporate group's team.

Job Purpose:

You will be part of a team of group consultants responding to requests from SME’s, Government bodies and the Higher Education sector across the UK and Ireland. You will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to exceed our service level agreements and fulfill our customer requirements by providing the highest level of customer service and the best value for money. Typical inquiries will range from organising meetings, conferences and events through to a full travel service including air and ground transportation, accommodation and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team arranging worldwide travel for corporate & business accounts within commercial, government, education & local authorities
• Provide expert group/ MICE quotes and creative travel itineraries whilst liaising with suppliers and venues.
• Ensure all quotations meet client needs and reservations are booked in an accurate and timely manner.

Corporate Travel Manager (Ref: STM146)

We are looking for a Corporate Manager to join the team.  

Job Purpose: 

To lead a dedicated team of Business Travel Consultants within our corporate department maintaining consistent standards, delivering and exceeding expectations where possible. Your primary role will be to motivate our teams to succeed; to cast a positive shadow, living and championing our company values and encouraging everyone else to do the same. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• You will lead a team of travel consultants who deal with dedicated accounts 

• You will ensure that they provide customer excellence and respond to travel meeting and exceeding our SLA 

• Responsible and accountable for managing delivery of all aspects of our customer’s journey 

• You will be the main point of contact for the team of staff for all queries and issues.   

• You will work closely with the wider management team in the company to drive the vision “to be the leading travel Management Company in the UK (United Kingdom) and Ireland.” 

• You will be required to liaise with your team and support the company ethos with our people which includes team talks, regular catch ups and strive to achieve performance goals with each member of your team 

• Complete investigations to support account managers  

• Complete 1-1 with staff members and hold team talks 

• Ensure team members are adhering to policies 

• Assist with recruitment when required  

• Authorising appointment and annual leave requests 

• As a Corporate Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to retain knowledge and pass on to the team to ensure they remain close to the nature of the business 

• Other duties may be assigned 

Skills & Experience 

• Ability to work under pressure and to precise time frames is paramount 

• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills are required 

• You must also be able to demonstrate a positive attitude to work and ability to motivate others to getting the job done 

• Problem solving, using initiative and multi-tasking are essential as well as managing resources 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Professional work ethic is required as you are the link between other teams, management and staff and a can-do attitude will promote positive outcomes and working together to get the job done. 

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role within corporate travel industry 

• Completion of a Management qualification such as CMI (Chartered Management Institute), level 5 or above is desirable  

• Experience of working and leading a team in a travel environment 

• Knowledge of a GDS system and other applications such as Microsoft office suite to analysis, interpret data, and use proactively on a regular basis.
