Job Description: Selective Travel Management is a fast-paced company seeking an HR Administrator / Officer who can support and enhance our HR Function. You will carry out a wide range of tasks to support the company, including updating systems, employee lifecycle, data management, sending letters and documents, managing mailbox and other tasks. Key Responsibilities:- Generalist HR responsibilities and support to our HR function.
- Maintenance of records, data entry, and minute taking.
- Preparation of KPI’s with tight deadlines.
- Assisting with Recruitment campaigns and Onboarding
- Employee life cycle administration
- Maintaining and updating staff records
- Absence Management
- Completion of risk assessments
- Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail
- 1-2 Years experience within the HR industry
- Qualified to CIPD Level 3 as minimum but Level 5 preferred
- IT Competent – Intermediate user in Microsoft Suite and SharePoint
- Understanding of employee life cycle processes
- Excellent administration and time-management skills
- Being proactive and able to ask questions and sense check understanding where relevant to do so.
- Monday to Friday working hours and no weekends

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our team and play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities. The Bid Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality, compelling proposals and tender responses that clearly articulate Selective Travel Management’s value proposition. This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts across the business. Key Responsibilities Proposal Development- Write, edit, and structure persuasive bid responses for public and private sector tenders.
- Ensure all submissions are compliant with client requirements and deadlines.
- Tailor content to highlight Selective Travel Management’s strengths, differentiators, and client benefits.
- Work closely with sales, account management, and operations teams to gather input and evidence.
- Research client organisations, industry trends, and competitor offerings to strengthen proposals.
- Maintain a library of standard bid content and case studies for reuse.
- Proofread and edit submissions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a professional tone across all documents.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously, prioritising workload effectively.
- Analyse feedback from unsuccessful bids to improve future responses.
- Contribute to the development of bid strategies and best practices.
- Support the wider sales team with presentations and proposal materials.
- Essential: minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bid Writer (preferably within travel management, professional services, or similar sectors).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of tender processes, frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-focused language.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with bid management tools.

We’re looking for skilled business travel consultants to join our corporate teams. You will be part of a team of corporate travel consultants responding to travel requests from non-secure Government bodies sector across the UK as well as handling internal enquiries.

Job Purpose: You will be part of a team of corporate travel consultants responding to travel requests from non-secure Government bodies sector across the UK as well as handling internal enquiries. You will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to exceed our service level agreements and fulfil our customer requirements by providing the highest level of customer service and the best value for money. Key Responsibilities:- Give expert travel quotes and provide creative travel itineraries.
- The internal team will be responsible to handle supplier bookings for all teams across the corporate division
- Working as part of a team arranging worldwide travel for corporate & business accounts within commercial, government, education & local authorities
- Ensure all quotations meet client needs and reservations are booked in an accurate and timely manner.
- Providing in depth knowledge of destinations, tour operators and suppliers
- Know your customer, listen to their needs and conduct yourself at all times in a friendly and professional manner
- Deliver exceptional customer service and make sure all requirements are accurately met each and every time in line with client needs
- Act as an ambassador and key point of contact for the client during their travels before, during and after
- Using a GDS booking system / other reservation system
- Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work under pressure and to precise time frames is paramount
- Operation of GDS (Galileo) is desirable.
- The successful candidate will be able to work self-sufficiently, as well as part of the team.
- The following skills are desirable; working in a corporate/group booking travel environment, knowledge of tailor-made trips, booking and changing multi sector and multi product itineraries.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the travel sector.
