Flights from Ireland to the US and Canada will end on September 15th
Budget airline Norwegian Air has announced that flight operations from Ireland to the United States and Canada will be indefinitely suspended from 15th September 2019, due to lower-than-expected earnings caused by the grounding of Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
The cancellations affect flights from Cork, Shannon and Dublin airports on routes to New York, Boston and Toronto. Last year, Norwegian axed flights transatlantic flights from Belfast due to low demand.
Norwegian Air will continue to operate short-haul flights from Dublin to Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
